8th graders seek to make a difference through a wetlands renovation

After two years making such a difference with their Get Hip to Habitat coastal wetlands restoration, the Allen Ram Class of 2022 has challenged themselves to a wetland renovation! They have taken on the task of making our campus wetland a place for others to visit, enjoy and learn about the importance of wetlands. They have been hard at work identifying organisms in zones they created, clearing the wetland of trash, and establishing a plan for the renovation. They have some really wonderful ideas and are working them into a final proposal. Their passion to share their appreciation for wetlands and educate others with this project is truly remarkable. This type of passion and enthusiasm is what we strive to inspire in all of our students, and we could not be more proud. Go Rams!
