Allen Academy Students and Families assist in Hurricane Harvey relief

In response to the devastation caused by Hurricane Harvey, our Upper School Student Council coordinated a very successful school-wide relief drive, which resulted in multiple truck loads of supplies being delivered to residents of the affected areas. Knowing that the road to recovery will be a long one, our students in Lower, Middle, and Upper School then took the time to write notes of appreciation and encouragement to both the residents of the Houston area, as well as the many troops who have spent long hours assisting residents of Houston and the Texas Gulf Coast. As always, we are proud of the empathy and compassion displayed by our students and their families, and are grateful for the collective willingness to help those in need.
