Allen Academy provides a rigorous and superior education in the humanities, arts, and sciences for students in Pre-Kindergarten through twelfth grade. The educational experience is structured to develop a mastery of subject matter as well as a lifelong love of learning. Underlying this mission is the intention to cultivate both the mind and spirit of each student.

Accordingly, the Allen experience includes the development of moral fiber and an awareness of values and viewpoints beyond the self. Allen's mission statement anchors the school's values of intellectual, aesthetic, social, physical, and moral development. Students participate daily in a system where an exploration of ethics, honor, and integrity are presented.

Students are asked to consider life and all of its dilemmas in contemporary society through Allen's curriculum, community service, advisory program, and the faculty's role as stewards of our mission. One of the most unique programs offered by Allen is its Emotional Intelligence Program and the impact of the program has been significant. Since its implementation, disciplinary referrals are virtually non-existent due to increased communication among students and between students and faculty. 

Allen Academy is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. It holds membership to the National Association of Independent Schools.
