Favorite Thing About Being at Allen: My favorite thing about Allen Academy is the community feeling that is built through the relationships of faculty, students, and families.
About Me: I grew up in the DFW metroplex, and fell in love with the education and coaching world as a high schooler, volunteering as a freshman mentor and assistant coaching my middle school Alma Mater’s basketball team. During my summers as an undergraduate, I worked as a strength and conditioning coach for both boys and girls grades K-12 in Trophy Club, TX. I was lucky enough to grow up surrounded by family and friends supporting my dream, including my older sister, and younger brother, my brother being an engineering student at TAMU as well. Gig ‘Em. Upon graduation in May 2023, I took a job as a 6th grade science teacher, and 7th/8th grade volleyball, basketball, and track coach in Rhome, TX. I loved both growing up and starting my career in the dfw area; however, after attending Texas A&M University, I consider the B/CS area my home, and I am so excited to come back home to continue my teaching and coaching career this fall. I return to College Station with my adorable and silly 1-year-old puppy named Lucky, who I am sure will be the Rams biggest fan. I spend a lot of my free time with my pup, as well as reading, binging tv shows, and going to HotWorx. I can’t wait to be a Ram!
