What is the Allen Academy Annual Fund?

You make the difference between good and great at Allen, which allows us to make choices rather than compromises. A gift to the Allen Fund is the first gift we ask of alumni, parents, parents of alumni, grandparents, faculty, staff, trustees, and friends. Annual gifts to the Allen Fund provide unrestricted funds to support the full range of programs offered by our school. 

When you contribute to the Allen Fund, you provide operational support for academics, arts, athletics, technology, and financial aid; you help Allen Academy attract and retain outstanding faculty and staff; and you support enhancements and maintenance for our beautiful campus.

In short, your gift to the Allen Fund directly impacts Allen Academy's core mission. 

Why Participation Matters

Your participation ensures a solid financial future for Allen Academy and encourages others in the community to also be supportive. A high percentage of giving by those closest to the school demonstrates the importance of philanthropy at Allen. A contribution of any size counts for participation! 

Why is your Gift so Meaningful? 

It goes directly to fund the highest priorities identified by teachers and staff for classroom purchases, professional development, athletics, and the arts. Here is an example of some of the things made possible due to the generosity of the Allen community:

• Specialized training and certification for teachers to add AP Capstone & other high-level courses.
• Professional development for faculty across all divisions, including sending teachers to the leading conferences in Texas for music education and STEM.
• Licenses to educational software for student and teacher use.
• Purchasing rights to the plays and musicals we staged.
• TAPPS participation fees in Athletics, Arts, and Academic competitions.
